About Us

ABOUT MY PRACTICE

I work in private practice using Zoom as an online platform, or in person, when it is safe to do so, in rented therapy rooms in S11 or S7. Therapy might be short term focused work or longer term exploratory work. This would include therapeutic interventions from Cognitive, Behavioural, Systemic, Psychodynamic, Person Centred, Attachment based and Trauma focused traditions. The most appropriate interventions would be discussed following the assessment so that you can decide how to proceed. I work with individuals and those people in relationships together, including couples and less traditional relationship arrangements, and with people of any sexual identity.

First Session Details

Our first session would be an opportunity to get to know each other, find out more about what brings you to therapy and discuss the contractual issues. It would be important for you to work out if you could feel comfortable enough in this setting and with me.  If you are then happy to proceed, I would work with you to make an assessment of your concerns, and, if indicated discuss a formulation with you, to help you decide what your options are to address these.  If it was indicated, you could then decide if you wanted to proceed with therapy - there is no expectation that you would have to do so.  I would also try to signpost you on, if I am not qualified to work with your concerns.

Availability

Currently, whilst working online to accommodate the restrictions related to COVID-19,  I have greater flexibility regarding appointments.  For face to face appointments,  I  have limited room availability for face to face therapy - please contact me for more information if you may be interested.
